Your Day, Your Running Order

What You Get

Your first dance, learned for you. Send it over with reasonable notice and we will have it ready.
Two live sets of 50 to 60 minutes with a break in between, timed around speeches, cake and the buffet.
A sound engineer on the desk all night, so the volume suits the room rather than fighting it.
A lighting engineer running the rig — the dance floor looks like an event, not a function room with the big lights on.
Background playlist between sets through our PA, so the room never falls silent.
A DJ set afterwards, if you want one. We can keep the floor going once the band has finished. Available for an additional fee — mention it when you enquire.
We set up and pack down ourselves. Nobody in your party has to lift a thing.

How the Evening Usually Runs

A typical function evening looks something like this. Nothing here is fixed — tell us your running order and we will build around it.

Late afternoon	We arrive, load in, rig the lights and soundcheck — well before your guests are in the room.
Guests arriving	Background music through our PA at conversation volume.
First dance	Live, if you would like it that way — then straight into the first set to keep everyone on the floor.
First set	50 to 60 minutes.
Break	Playlist keeps the floor moving. A good window for the buffet.
Second set	50 to 60 minutes, building to the big singalongs.
Last song	Then a final playlist while the room winds down and we pack away quietly.

Questions We Get Asked Most

Can you learn our first dance?

Yes. Send it over as early as you can and we will have it ready for the night. If it is not a song that suits a four-piece, we will tell you honestly and suggest how to make it work.

How long do you play for?

Two live sets of 50 to 60 minutes each, with a break in between. We will time them around your evening.

What happens between sets?

Our PA keeps a playlist running, so there is never an awkward silence. It is included, not an extra.

How much space do you need?

Enough room for a four-piece — bass, keys, guitar and drums — plus the lighting rig. We will confirm exact dimensions with you well before the day.

What do you need from the venue?

Two standard 13A sockets within reach of the stage area. That is genuinely it — we bring the PA, the lights and the engineers to run them.

Do you play outdoors?

Yes, provided there is cover over the band and the equipment, and access to power.

Can we choose the songs?

Please do. Send us your must-plays and, just as usefully, anything you would rather we avoided.

What does it cost?

Function and wedding rates depend on the date, the travel and how long you would like us to play. Send an enquiry and we will come back with a straight price — no packages to decode.

Can you carry on after the band finishes?

Yes. We can add a DJ set after the live sets to take the night through to the end. It costs a little more, so tell us if you would like it included in your quote.
